Next two events:
This is an orientation meeting for people who are interested in doing H & I
Our planning meeting is scheduled January 18, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the Visalia Alano Club following our Orientation Meeting which will begin at 9:00 a.m.
For the NorCal H&I General Committee Meeting on Sunday February 9, we need to organize morning pastries and lunch for this event along with some table coverings/decorations. Please do some brain storming and bring all ideas to this meeting. The tables and chairs will be set up for us so we will be responsible to setting up our table covers food, coffee etc. and then putting them away.
We will need volunteers to: set up at 9:30 am, pick up and set up lunch, monitor coffee and hot water during the meeting, clean up and pack supplies after the meeting. Please check your schedules prior to the 18th and let us know what you will be able to help with at the meeting.
It is exciting that we have this opportunity to work together and be a part of the the awesome committee which affords us the opportunity to carry the message of AA to the confined alcoholic.
See you on the 18th!
In love and service
The A.A. Preamble
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
